Hello, I'm Bill Worley. After a successful career at HP and IBM, I am now founder of a software company, Secure64, where I'm creating infrastructure security products as networks transition to DNSSEC. At HP I was an HP Fellow and Chief Scientist where I worked on PA-RISC and PA-Wide Word processor architectures as well as other research programs. You can read more about my professional bio at my company's site. I
live in Colorado where I enjoy technical work just as much as I ever have, and I enjoy spending time with my family and other hobbies.
I'm blogging with by friend and co-worker Joe Gersch because there's a lot I have to share about how we need to rethink and secure our Internet and internal business networks, particularly as we move into cloud services and increased usage of online software and services.
And... I'm Joe Gersch. Like Bill, I too am had an enjoyable career at HP, though we didn't work directly together when we both worked there. I've managed R&D and marketing for products like HP OpenView, Smart Card Center, enterprise networking and security products and a bunch of other technology products at HP. You can also learn more about me by reading my professional bio on our company web site. I live in northern Colorado which in my opinion is one of the best places to live in the world. How could you pass up leaving right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
Me and blogging? Well, they suggested at work that Bill and I start a blog, and hey, who am I to argue against an opportunity to share my knowledge and my sense of humor with the world!
